In Bad Taste

I was disturbed after seeing this picture in the front page of Tamil Murasu. I wonder why PTI decided to distribute such pictures. Dilip D’Souza has also linked to the same picture published in the Hindustan Times. Can we have the culture police please?

  • I hope they took the people's permission before printing that stuff. Pictures can lie. However, "guardians" can be stern and unforgiving. Both the ones at home and on the streets..

  • What a silly thing to put on a cover. In the land of 1 billion plus ppl, couldn't they find a news worthy story?

I was thinking the same thing neha. J'adore hums someones in trouble!

  • i dont see a big issue when page 3 pics or cinema related pics always have pictures that are 100 times sensational in all aspects ;)

  • Looks like Tamilmurasu picture is different from HT. or they might have updated the page. Anyway (HT pic), it didnt look like it was forced and it could also be a case wrong (camera) timing.

Also, if there is an objection, should it not be for the act and not for the picture

    Just MHO

    Slakhs

  • I'm sure they haven't got the permissions to post these pictures. maybe i'm wrong.

if only they had got the guys' permission, there's nothing wrong.

its a way the newspapers are making a mock of present day stuff. what's wrong here and why is it disturbing to you.

  • Mottai boss, I haven't seen the page 3 photos in India but I presume its the same stuff as in the UK. In that case those photos and film related photos are of models and actors who've consented to being photographed and are aware of being photographed. Wonder if its the same case here?

This photo appeared in Dina Malar too.. I fault Dina Malar & Tamil Murasu for highlighting it on page#1.. I am certain, their intention was not to show holi revelry..

Also, photo may have been taken without the girls permission..

Infact, there was another picture along similar line in Tamil Murasu & Dina Malar yesterday. This time from Pondicherry.
