Gandhi is wearing a shawl made by Yves Saint Laurent(YSL). This is the result of some creative work in Photoshop or some such software. Gandhi never wears such ostentatious stuff.

I assume this is an ad by YSL? The GOI should take note of these ads and pursue the advertiser with legal action. I am totally against "commercialising" of Gandhiji.

Thought it was a real ad :-) Apple,Telecom Italia did use Mahatma Gandhi in their ads but YSL would be a contradiction to his principles ...

who ever did the picture,great work.Kaps did u find the original picture?.Iam wondering whether the whole shawl itself done from photoshop or only the symbol.You can see the symbol folding according to the folds on the shawl.If u get the original post that too.
