I hate my Post Box

BILL BOX

The only (snail) mails that get delivered these days are the Credit Card Bills, Telephone Bills, Utility Bills, ISP Bills & Cable TV Bills. Opening the post box and paying these bills on time is one of the most boring tasks. The easier way to do it might be to ask your bank to automate the payment. But by doing so, you often lose track of what is being debited to your bank account.

  • AyeKay,
I didn't want to use the word GIRO as lot of people might not understand the same.

  • The problem with the direct debit mandate is that you have insti's like many mobile phone companies (Reliance, Airtel) who even after sending loads of communication that you intend disconnecting and stop auto debit, it still works. I have also had experiences with ICICI, AMEX on such direct debit mandates
