Rajni + Kamal = Nijam or Poi?
According to the New Indian Express, Rajni and Kamal are going to join hands after a gap of 26 years. The last movie both of them acted together was Ninaithale Inikkum (1979). They might be acting in K Balachander’s forthcoming movie Poi.
Some of KB’s recent releases (Kalki, Paarthale Paravasam) have not found favour with the box office and the presence of Kamal and Rajni should help in ensuring that his forthcoming movie makes a mark. Few days ago, I had the opportunity of listening to an interview with KB on the local radio channel (I guess it was recorded few years ago). KB said that he doesn’t prefer working with top artistes as he is often forced to modify the screenplay to suit the image of the hero. Will KB give roles to suit the image of Rajni and Kamal?

Paarthaley paravasam was KB's 100th movie... and was a major bomb. And Rajini / Kamal in KB's movie ? Am not in for it.
After CM, Rajini has now created a name for himself. I wudn't want that getting spoilt. While KB might keep taking movies despite flops, I would want Rajini to exit the film industry after a series of hits like CM.

Dont expect a full featured role. It will be a guest role where the stars will appear in one or two scenes.

I have a question.
When is there gg to be a revolution in tamil movies?
Why is there always a std plot of Boy meets girl. Girls meets Boy. Boy likes Girl. Girls doesnt like Boy. Boy convinces girl. Girl Likes boy. But girls parents dont like Boy. Then they fight it out and get together. Throw in a few dance numbers w fat women dancin in the middle of the himalayas and an ugly ass villain with a huge nasty mole. And of course some C grade fight scenes.
And voila,You have a blockbuster hit.
The producers of kollywood have been conning you guys. haha. But nevertheless. I still tune in for no brainer entertainment.
Its fun, its stupid and stupid.
Oh yeah i forget. The hero must have a beer belly and wear a netted suit and the heroines belly has to be fatter than the heroes.

I think it will be a guest appearance of both in the movie-as I dont think at this stage Kamal and Rajni can fit into a KB movie genre where lot of imp is given to characterisation

i doubt KB wud ask them such a favor. if he asks it will go thro the regular filtering process and will be decided on the merit of the script.
i think in all KB-rajini-kamal movies..kamal was clearly the hero with rajini being a sidekik/comedian/villian. thats not gonna happen now is it?

it is always good to exit when u r at your peak. but most of the stars (both in filmdom and in sports) try to exit only when they r thrown out of the industry.
