ML to Rock Mumbai & B’lore
MLTR is planning to Paint their love in B’lore and Mumbai. The man who taught us to count our chickens before they hatch is organizing the event. When did he turn event organizer / manager? What happened to good old Venkat Varadhan of DNA Networks?
I suggest the following tag line for the concert:-
Dare to think beyond DNA Networks?

Arindam choudari as a director of Sunndy deol.. unbelievable.. have you heard about that movie? is it something about solution for economic evils, like the ones churned out from Bollywood every year?

I read some time back (i think in BusinessWorld) on Arindam and his MBA course is one tall claim of promises! On another note, if you notice in Asia, we still accept all these yesteryear bands who much out of favour in their markets.

@Amit,
True
@Ram,
I also read about the movie. Not sure about the theme....but it might be commercially oriented.
@Ashwin,
Rashmi Bansal / Jam Magazine had exposed the tall claims of IIPM. I think the top bands don't perform in India and hence we need to live with bands which are past their prime.

So what if the bands are "old". The rock capital of India Bangalore and Mumbai (to a lesser extent) have played host to greats such as Roger Waters (what a show!), Mark Knopfler, Joe Satriani, Sting, Deep Purple, and also to artists like Bryan Adams, Scorpions, Elton John (forgettable concert).
Also, did you know where MLTR did their first concert in India? Yes, Singara Chennai, in 1994 or 1995!

Bala,
I do remember that MLTR played in Chennai in the mid 90's. They were quite hot at that time and the MTV culture was just making inroads into India.
