This is the movie I guess in which Bagiyaraj is launching his daughter as a heroine. Prithiviraj is doing the lead role. Bagiyarak being known for his screenplay skills would definitely come out with a winner for his daughter.
Surprising that indianexpress wud make such a mistake...

I think you have mistaken this 'Asokamitran' to Bhagyaraj's home production 'Paarijaatham'. This movie of Suhashini has Dhanush & Gopika in the lead - and directed by Karu.Palaniappan.
Bhagayaraj's 'Paarijaatham' has his daughter with Prithviraj.
