  • i didnt realise that the SRK Lux ad, also had female stars in it. I guess its meant to reach all women - even the homosexual and bisexual ones ;-)

  • OMG!!! The second part of the Lux ad is worse than the first. Where have all the creative brains gone??

  • Shobha Warrior's article is very very disturbing! I dint have the guts to go through any other article.

There should be something majorly done to mend the image that Chennai has. Though I really dont think things are this serious but we should do something to those pricks, i mean those cops...

Educating them on city culture would be a nice idea...
Yes, this is not the Chennai that we wanna live in...DO NOT let these dumb kakhi clad villagers spoil the name of our city...I ve had awesome fun in Chennai, and I just cant see myself getting arrested in the midst of all the fun..!! Damn these buggers..

    Ok Chill...

  • I've seen a kindergarten with an ISO 9000 certification! Its in Jurong East. I couldn't take a photo sadly; I was in a bus.

  • Thanks!Couple of trivia on Mahesh:

He was supposed to do 'Roja'.MR went to ARR because Mahesh had to undergo treatment at that time.

Chitra Mahesh, his wife is a columnist in 'The Hindu'.

  • Just drink a bottle of water before going to sleep. Sweet trick! No hangover..voila! Most of us forget to drink water which results in dehydration and in comes Mr.Headache!

And plz the ghee part is absolutely gross!!! and that also 200gm...anyone would puke before drinking!!!

  • @J'adore,
Lux is a family soap.....SRK wud have refused to act if women were not involved

I guess this ad is working for Lux.....it has created enuf buzz

    @Chennai Chatter,
I think Shobha Warrier's article is a bit exaggerated

Maybe they want to prove their quality (especially after the PM spoke about it in this years NDP speech)

I hv also read somewhere that Mahesh was supposed to have done Roja. Mahesh's loss was ARR's gain
I didn't know that Mahesh's wife works for The Hindu. Haven't read any of her articles before.

The ghee bit sounded wierd........hope the other suggestions work

  • Blogged a strong reaction to the mindless Chennai-bashing of Shobha Warrier on Rediff.

For that matter, just do a Google on "Shobha Warrier" and see for yourself.

Trash journalism sucks worse than moral policing :-)
