Mumbai Mirror article on IIPM vanishes into thin air
Few days ago, all blogs had linked to the Mumbai Mirror article on IIPM. In a latest development, the online article seems to have vanished from the Mumbai Mirror site. Looking at this development, I can only quote from Gaurav's earlier post -
Truth never hurts those who are right

na this isn't conspiracy. it is just stupidity:)
the mumbai mirror has this really peculiar problem of links disappearing after one day.
it is almost as though they recode everything every night.

IIPM ad anyway seems shady. it may misguide people from samll towns. And I think, "Beyond IIM" theme is something that is very shallow. I for one will never trust a institute like that after knowing what IIM is all about

Not suprising....

Mumbai mirror is a TOI paper and TOI carries good amount of the full page IIPM ads. maybe thats why. In fact I was shocked to see the Blog war mentioned in mumbai mirror in the first place. Anyway it wasn't even a properarticle. Mumbai mirror has a section called Bloggers park which posts good blog posts and other thing happening in the blog world. It was that column that carried the IIPM fracas..

Or perhaps MM has now been sued.

heard from sources that AC had called NDTV to remove their article too...just get a snapshot of the post before it is removed...hope it does not happen...money can buy anything nowadays...can it buy freedom?

MM refreshes its website everyday - so it will be hidden somewhere in their archives. I'm sure its still there - but the way MM makes its website, it must have been replaced. I've often had difficulty finding old MM articles.

i am actually scared now. especially after reading your report on what different indian media guys have to say..i guess india will be the first country to ban blogs !
instead of people designing buttons to show our support to gaurav and reshmi, they should be designing nice disclaimers we can all cut and paste at the bottom of our blogs.
