“Well, it is a value-added service, and there will definitely be takers, especially frequent fliers,” says Thiagarajan. Covering routes popular among the business community, such as Delhi-Cochin, Delhi-Coimbatore, Coimbatore-Cochin and Chennai-Cochin, Paramount today has five Embraer jets (E-jets) from Brazil, and conducts eight flights a day.

Hey,
Paramount has put on hold all its flights post 15th Dec a friend trying to fly paramount told me. It closed shop so fast or ran out of funding ?

Hi
I flew Paramount yesterday 31st Dec from Chennai to Coimbatore. I would say that it is the BEST service I have ever seen from any airline in the world.
Right from special Valet service ie. customer service staff greeting me as soon as got out of my car, the smart staff, lounge access in the ground and the amazing in-flight service. Food was great never thought Taj could make such good food to top it of it was served with linen, fine china and all the works you would expect in a 5star rest.
If Paramount maintains these standards and offers business class services like this at lower than economy class fares JET, IC better be beware.
Wish Paramount flies to Hyderabad and Bom too soon. Vishal

Paramount In-flight service is better than Jet. I am Jet airways Platinum JP frequent flier. I wish they have a frequent flier program soon as I really loved flying Paramount. Though the flight was full it was very comfortable as there was no middle seats. Lot of Leg space and great value for money.
These guys are just doing great !
