Sugar baroness speaks out

Some excerpts from Rajshree Pathy’s interview in Business Standard. People familiar with Coimbatore can relate to it.

The PSG family produces girls, the Laxmi Mills family produces boys, they marry each other and live happily ever after.

When she’s especially stressed, she likes to go driving — with cousin Narain Karthikeyan, who’s done the Grand Prix. “My family has been in racing since 1952. I haven’t done Formula One but I’ve done Sholavaram. That’s fast enough for me."

  • Is it just me or was that a badly written article? It was unfocused - either biz nor lifestyle.

But the interesting things was that they never spoke about her husband ~ very rare for pieces on women.

  • Like J'adore I too found that interesting, no mention of the husband. Being a Coimbatorean, it was good to read about someone making waves from that town apart from Narain in the business world.

And, Kaps my blog is http://wordsdownunder.wordpress.com, you have slightly mispelt in your blogroll.
