Time – Best Photos of the Year 2005

The latest issue of TIME has a collection of the best photos of this year. There is an online poll, which allows readers to vote for their choice for the best picture. Majority of the pictures reflect the terror attacks (London bombings), riots (Paris) and natural calamities (Tsunami aftermath, Indo-Pak Earthquake, Katrina and Rita floods) that dominated the news this year. Let's hope that next year's photos will have more smiling faces.
