Bloglines Down Down!
This might sound like a communist statement but that reflects the real state of affairs. Expressing dissent comes naturally to bloggers and the current Bloglines outage is no different.

Bloglines is a free service. It doesn't even show advertisements! And dare I say it's not even a critical service like webmail?
But a little bit of downtime and bloggers start crying and calling names. Bloggers are surely a bunch of whiners!

Irony is that I read this post in Bloglines... :) True, their service is letting me down quite a few times in the recent days.

In some ways it saddens me that we are so dependent that even a short interruption causes such drama. I guess for prolific bloggers it is the end of the world. I'm way too lazy to follow what everyone else is upto all the time...I prefer the old fashioned method of clicking on my own blogroll when I want to see peoples updates. Laziness rules!

@Antrix,
Rightly said! be it a paid service or a free service, bloggers seem to be over-reacting on lot of things.
@Indian Voter,
I was a bit late in commenting on this issue.
@30in2005,
It doesn't matter whether one is a prolific blogger or not. even non-bloggers use bloglines extensively to read news and blogs. A bookmark / blogroll based reading is convenient provided your reading list is small. This may not be the case for people who have a huge blogroll or reading list.
@Chanakya,
I suggest you go ahead and subscribe to it.

@Villain,
I don't like the interface of the google reader. i'm sticking to bloglines for the moment.
