I would go for 1. Great content rather than others, since blogging is done during your free time or mostly when you wanted to share something to others (your views or anything). I am stuck to your blog just for one reason and thats content, I have come across various other blogs, frankly speaking though they are updated every hour or minute, has not creative and inteersting content.
But being active does improves readers on your blog! Anyways thanks for coming up with a small and sweet one ;)
