Viswanathan (prounounced Kah-vee-uh Viss-wahn-uh-thon), who was just 17 when she signed the deal, did not immediately return calls for comment Tuesday.

    Today ,i wud have heard her name many times in almost all talk shows in radio.

    Her names pronounced thus :
    kayva visva naethan
    (as in English= Nathan)

    Ms.kahh veeyah vaishva ....

    whatever..felt bad for her.Her books pulled off shelves,and second charges of plagiarism evidenced,and she had written many news bits in newspapers here,and they too wud be under scrutiny for any plagiarism.

  • Much has already been written about the fledgling writer whose meteoric rise was eclipsed by the nosedive. Although she is clearly in the wrong must we continue to dwell on her now that her reason for the status of a celebrity has vanished ?

    Kaavya could go on to write another book based on her traumatic experiences following the expose. Monica Lewinsky got a great deal for her book didn't she ?
