MSN India in Tamil and Hindi
Sometime ago, we heard about Microsoft’s Bhasha initiative to promote content in Indian languages. It was expected that MSN India would roll out portals in Indian languages. MSN India’s Tamil and Hindi portals are up and running now. To start with, MSN Tamil is sourcing lot of content from Webulagam. Sify Tamil seems to have built a lead in this space. Let’s hope that the entry of MSN Tamil will help in improving the quality of Tamil portals.

It is a good start. The Hindi version is incidentally sourced from WebDuniya. Even the English version is mostly outsourced so we have to wait see what features they add to these portals.

MSN Tamil looks good, however aren't they just another entrant in a constricted space?

there is so much competition already. i wonder how they are going to establish themself. The english portal of MSN India has hardly made any impact.
