Pudu name for Pondicherry
When state capitals can go for a name change, can the Union Territory be far behind? Will it be pudu wine in old bottle for our kudimagans (citizens)?

Now these politicos can claim to have regained their lost pride from the French, after erasing one more vestige from the colonial period. When will the incongruous buildings in the heart of pondicherry bearing the stamp of the french architectural style be razed to the ground ?

@Anand,
I guess Pondy derives lot of tourist revenue from French tourists and they might not demolish any of the French structures as tourist inflow could be affected. The demolishing of French style structures might not go down well in France, the politicians would be wary of it.

I really do not know what is in this name change. Does Nameology prove that the name change can be for an enormous turnover in terms of revenue to the state.
Firstly, these f*****g politics should see a change. It is already a bunch of scoundrels show-casing good-for-nothing ideologies to drive public attention!!!.
If this is the case, let the French (Architectures, Men and Women, Privileges, tourist attractions and even the Aurobindo Ashram to have change in the primary language from French to Tamil, etc.)be shipped to the French itself. Let the ruins alone remain
