For yrs, our politicians were obsessed with singapore. Now Shangai too. Ever city from Bombay to Chennai to Guwahati wants to emulate Shanghai. Dont we have our own ways to improve & how long should this business go on of trying to emulate each & every city in our neighbourhood.

even recently we had the FM saying that Mumbai will be turned into another Shanghai or the financial hub of Asia. I guess we should be setting our own standards instead of emulating other global cities.
