Himesh Reshammiya in Tamil

Bollywood music directors haven't had much success in Tamil music industry. You hardly see any of them signing up for Tamil films. I was surprised to read that Himesh Reshammiya has been signed up to do the music for Kamal's Dasavatharam. ARR was supposed to do this movie and he backed out subsequently. I'm not too sure whether Himesh can make an impact in Kollywood. I think K S Ravikumar and Kamal are making a big gamble for this big budget movie.

  • Himesh may not be as talented as ARR. I have never heard Himesh's tunes. does he churn out cheap music ?

  • Infact all the tunes of himeshji are really great. All of them have become a hit. I hav listened to all his albums and i appreciated every music which he made in the songs. I think that he is the best music director of the new generation of today. In every composition of his, he always experiments something new and different which helps him create his own style which is very unique to him. He is doing a great job and I wish him good luck for the future.

    trend till date is that even if BW music directors produce good songs it doesn't become a hit.

  • I completely disagree with what ramkumardi said at all. It is the first time that himeshji will be composing for a tamil film. I completely agree that it will be very different with what he composes actually for the films in bollywood and i know that expectations are very high from him but i am sure that he will be able to prove himself. I am confident that he will do a great job and i trust him for that.

  • Himesh reshammiya is only making the music of that tamil film and i don't understand why is everyone making it a big issue? No one can criticise him at this stage. I think we should wait for the release of the songs then you can decide who is really the best don't you think so? hey you guys don't be so harsh on himeshji

  • himesh is a greatest composer cum singer in bollywood.every song was a super duper hit.if arr can give music to tamil films why himesh cant?currently a r rehman failed in bollywood because of the greatest songs & music of himesh reshammiya.now himesh called as "HIT MACHINE" from his fans. i am also a great fan of him.the director & producer known his talent & given the responsibility to give greatest tunes to d movie.the time will tell d answer for all d questions.goodluck himesh u r rocking d nation & will rock d world.best of luck for the tamil film.

  • Hey i'm madarasi....himesh is amazing...his song composes in hindi films are great....hey tamil fans.....pls check out the hindi albums.....all r rocking.....akshar,dil diya hai etc....he's a great selection to kamal's dasa avatharam...this movie is going to release in two language hindi and tamil......
